The Condor Performance Sun Hat was designed based on feedback from our Shelta family, who desired a style that could provide both sun protection and comfort in hot conditions. This version features a deeper crown for air flow and a wider, downward angled brim for increased UV protection. A full vapor barrier liner prevents the fabric from touching your scalp, while allowing air flow through the laser cut venting holes and breathable material. Unlike the previous model, the new Condor does not have a stash pocket, making it even lighter. However, it still maintains its amphibious nature with the No Sag headband, No Flop brim technology, and the ability to float on water, making it perfect for activities such as boating, gardening, or strolling on the beach.

This is my third Shelta hat. .

Without a doubt, these are the best sun protection hats available. Just had my annual dermatological review and have no signs of damage on my neck or face or head. I enjoy wearing wearing these hats. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the sun and during the summer in the pool, thank you very much

Bought the Condor to end my floppy hat predicament

I film sports and from time to time my old, trusty floppy hat's brim will fly up on windy days to reveal a frightening reflection of myself.
To eliminate this problem, I bought the Condor. Best hat purchase I've ever made.
I'll continue to wear my floppy hat for doing chores around the house and to chase the neighborhood kids off of my lawn, but for work I'll only wear my Shelta Condor from now on.

Great photography hat!

I wore this hat for two days straight this past weekend photographing an outdoor horse show. On Saturday, it poured down rain and instead of my previous boonie hat getting soaked and hanging down in my face, this one held up in the front to keep the rain out of my face. Likewise, on Sunday, it was hot and sunny - this hat kept my head, face, and neck protected from the all day sun without getting sweaty and drooping down into my face.

Also, thanks for making an XXL size and realizing that "one size" does NOT fit all!
